SC500-LW is a special model used for Lone Worker Accountability and prevents the ability of the user to turn the unit off unless returned the charger and prevents motion timing from being changed or disabled. This model is used in applications where it is important to insure that the device cannot be accidently or intentionally turned off and the motion timing cannot be disabled.
The SC500-LW is automatically turned on when it is removed from the powered cradle charger and can only be turned off by returning the SC500-LW to the powered cradle charger to automatically power the device off….when the SC500-LW senses a loss of power it automatically powers itself on. Power sensing occurs when the removed from the charger(or when the charger loses power) this prevents the user from turning the device off until it is returned to the charger.
Please select a motion timing of either 90 or 120 seconds. With motion timing, the SC500-LW will go into pre-alert (prompting the user to move- this resets the timer) 15 seconds before transmitting an alarm. Motion timing cannot be disabled by the user on this model. Use the SC500-SM that provides the user the ability power up/down and motion timing disable at will.
